“I am delighted to join the CRG to support climate, biodiversity, and food system resilience planning. To build a more flourishing food system, we need to address the unique challenges and opportunities we have in the region. Food (from our food systems) is deeply woven into our day-to-day lives. The interwoven network that is the food system connects from us and whanau and includes producers, retailers, community groups, infrastructure, energy, water, and policymakers, to name a few. I look forward to supporting the weaving of food system resilience into short, medium, and long term plans for our region that are sustainable, secure, and equitable - and that sustain us.”
