  • Capacity building: Provide training and resources to upskill staff, contractors, and governance decision-makers in sustainable project management practices. 
  • Sustainability management plans: Embed sustainability management plans into all phases of project planning and delivery to ensure a structured and measurable approach to reducing environmental impact. 
  • Enhanced project reporting: Integrate sustainability metrics into project reporting to track progress, measure impact, and drive continuous improvement.
  • Whole-of-life carbon evaluation: Require projects with moderate to high climate impact to assess and minimise whole-of-life emissions, ensuring informed decision-making for long-term sustainability.
